In a heartwarming event, our EY parents and little ones came together for an unforgettable Parent-Child activity. The day was filled with laughter, creativity, and shared moments. Families immersed themselves in storytelling, bringing tales to life with books and puppets. Together, parents and children crafted their own puppets, adding unique touches to each creation. Traditional games like carrom, X and O, dart, snakes and ladders, Jenga, and memory games brought smiles and friendly competition. A magical animal tale, expertly shared by Pomegranate teachers, captivated both kids and parents alike. These shared experiences have created cherished memories that will stay with them for a lifetime.
The special assembly, 'Art Day,' transformed our school into a vibrant canvas of creativity. From finger painting to crafting, our little artists explored the nuances of colors, textures, and self-expression. EY 1 students delved into color transfers and chalk doodles, while EY 2 enchanted us with designs using twigs and leaves. EY 3 artists brought portraits and Orbeez cards to life. Parent volunteers enthusiastically joined the fun, guiding activities like foil painting, vegetable printing, balloon printing, and creating patterns with earbuds and paints. Alongside their art teachers, students of all levels discovered the mesmerizing technique of pointillism. This Art Day celebration serves as a vivid reminder of the crucial role creativity plays in early childhood education. It lays the foundation for a lifelong appreciation for the arts, nurturing the potential of our little Picassos.
