Message from the Principal
Dear Parents,
Welcome to Bees & Cubs from Nahar International School!
NIS is a school community that works in partnership with students and parents to
provide quality education in a positive and supportive environment. This
handbook explains policies, procedures and expectations from students and
parents that help our school run smoothly and effectively. Please read it with
care, we encourage each family to review it together.
NIS encourages the development of individual talents and respects the right of
every student to his or her own opinion. However, there must be commonly
accepted standards of behaviour and communication for our school to function
optimally. These standards are published in this handbook. The school assumes
that you will read them, understand them, and, by your presence in the school,
intend to maintain them. Kindly keep it as a handy reference throughout the
school year as it will address many of your queries about NIS.
The school believes that respect for other people, honesty, and courtesy are
fundamental and the expected standard for behaviour. These, coupled with an
attitude of cooperation and mutual understanding, make for an enjoyable and
creative community life. This is what we want for everyone.

Message from the Pre Primary Head
Dear Parents,
It’s a pleasure to welcome you to Bees and Cubs Daycare where we believe that the
child’s early years are a precious time of growth, exploration and discovery. We
provide
a warm and nurturing environment that feels like a true extension of home and where
each
child feels secure and valued.
Bees and Cubs daycare is a place where children have fun, and while doing so they
learn,
grow, collaborate and build meaningful connections with their peers and caregivers.
It
is a place where parents leave the children with the assured thought that their
children
are in safe hands under the guidance of our dedicated and well trained team.
We work with the thought that learning is a continuous process, each experience and
exposure contributes to shaping a child’s personality. We put conscious thought in
helping each child develop physically, socially, emotionally, cognitively and
creatively.
Children at Bees and Cubs daycare get the opportunity to learn the value of
collaboration and teamwork during group activities, play time or while sharing
meals. We
encourage our children to interact and build positive relationships with each other.
Children of different age group come together and build connections. They learn to
be
empathetic, adaptable and build leadership skills.
